Teacher Mihaela Tomoiu, a member of the teaching staff of the Foreign Language Center of the Land Forces Staff within the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, participated in a Pedagogical and French Language Knowledge Refresher Course, entitled "Formation des formateurs", at Center interarmees de formation, held in Rochefort, France, between September 13 and December 13, 2023.

The training activity was attended by representatives of military institutions from countries such as Egypt, Iraq, Madagascar, Nigeria, Botswana, Jordan and Palestine, as military personnel, translators, French language teachers from the higher and secondary military education environment.

The main directions of approach of this training program, towards the development of the participant’s linguistic skills and French language trainer abilities, focused on aspects of vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, culture and civilization, DELF/DALF assessment according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and the military terminology. Consequently, the CIFR (Cours International de Français) organized didactic, pedagogical and cultural activities to meet this objective.
